What Is a Yeast Infection?

Posted by herbmaster on Jul 4, 2009 in Uncategorized |

Yeast infections are caused by the overgrowth of candida, microscopic yeast that live in the body and on the skin. The problematic yeast is a form of candida, usually candida albicans. You don’t even know you’re sick until the yeast grow out of control and cause symptoms. Studies show that 80-90% of people in the USA have a yeast infection. It is a similar percentage in more developed countries.

The vaginal yeast infection is the most well-known of yeast symptoms.

Men, women and children can all get yeast infections anywhere on the body. Men can get a yeast infection in the genital area. Diaper rash that is not cleared with normal treatment is likely to be a yeast infection. Another symptom of yeast infections is a rash on the body of males and females of all ages. A yeast infection of the mouth is often known as thrush and can affect the inner cheeks, tongue and throat.

Infections often also occur in moist warm areas such as underarms, in skin folds and under breasts. The nail beds are another place where yeast can grow.

Unfortunately, candidiasis is often misdiagnosed. If the yeast is not diagnosed or treated properly it can be dangerous.  Left untreated, a yeast infection can spread and attach itself to the organs and vessels of the entire body. The yeast infection is likely to become chronic.People with impaired immune systems are the most likely to get a systemic yeast infection.

A yeast infection can also cause a host of less-obvious symptoms in the body.Do any of these symptoms sound familiar?

Having any of these symptoms does not mean that you definitely have a yeast infection.  They can be symptoms of many other disorders. However, an all-natural, holistic approach will also cure those candidiasis problems.

In my experience, pharmaceuticals and some natural medicines treat the yeast infection and certain specific holistic remedies cure.In other words, medications usually work – they take away the distressing symptoms. However, the symptoms of rashes and discharges will return.

Many people also get short-term relief with natural remedies. It is possible to change the inner environment of the body and be rid of the yeast infection for ever. You do have to know the right way to treat it if you want to get rid of the yeast infection for ever.Getting rid of the chronic yeast infection has changed my life.Feeling energetic, for example, is fantastic! And it’s fantastic not to itch and scratch any more.
