Help Prevent Breast Cancer Using a Common Daily Supplement

All women want to be able to prevent breast cancer. Each year so many women die of breast cancer. Every year researchers spend so much money trying to find a cure for breast cancer. Naturally, the best way of staying safe is to try to take every step possible to prevent breast cancer.

As early as 1993, studies published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute indicated that there might be a link between omega 3 fatty acids and breast cancer prevention. The results aren’t conclusive as of yet, but many more studies have come out also indicating this connection. Omega 3 fatty acids are found in fish oil and flax oil. They contribute to heart health and are anti-inflammatory compounds. The thing that could be helping to prevent breast cancer is its anti-inflammatory nature.

Flax seed and fish are where you usually get omega 3s from. You could have a moderate omega 3 deficiency if you don’t really eat fish or flax seed. Which can be harmful to your health. This can create serious cardiovascular problems or depression. Plus, it can totally mess with your immune system making you more susceptible to auto-immune issues, diabetes and migraines.

Researchers are believing that the auto-immune issue is why omega 3s can contribute to preventing breast cancer. Cancers are caused when cells literally go crazy, and an anti-inflammatory agent could play a huge role in calming down those cells. When cells calm down they won’t get the chance to start dividing uncontrollably and you can steer clear of cancer.

More people that not end up taking a daily omega 3 supplement for their health, in general, because they want to do everything they can to prevent cancer. At the least they are really contributing to many facets of their health like heart health and memory functions. Its better to be prepared and take omega 3 supplements, while the research is still going on on whether or not it will actually help prevent breast cancer.

WHAT CAUSES  GOUT? here are a few things to consider:

Foods to avoid with gout are foods such as; red meat and offal, poultry, shellfish, anchovies, sardines, mackerel, herring, roe, asparagus, cauliflower, mushrooms, peas, beans, lentils, etc. And alcohol of course.

Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, the kidneys can sometimes not do this efficiently enough, so that you end up with too much uric acid in your bloodstream, leading to what causes gout.

I have not had gout myself but they tell me the pain is really horrible. It is caused by a build up of uric acid from the diet. Uric acid can affect any joint in the body but it’s renowned for affecting the big toe. Uric acid is not processed properly by the kidneys, instead it builds up in the soft tissue, forming sharp crystals that are like needles.

 What is the cause of gout?And what are the symtoms? Swelling, inflammation, redness, pain, throbbing and more pain.

The actual caus of gout symptoms are uric acid crystals that have deposited themselves in you joints and tendons. These crystals are very sharp in nature and cause inflammation, swelling, redness, heat and of course unbearable pain.

One way to help to alleviate gout pain and to try to ‘manage’ your gout is to avoid food that causes gout, e.g. those foods which are high in purines. Less purines means less uric acid and a better chance for gout relief.

A quick rule for proteins, they are in general acid forming ie beef, pork, poultry, cheese, eggs then grains like wheat and rye are acid forming. Sugar is very acid forming. Alcohol is acid forming and causes dehydration so make sure you drink enough water to help the kidneys flush out compounds. Eating a lot of protein as with a high protein diet, can cause damage to the kidneys and is extremely dehydrating.

Some people are more prone than others but your diet plays an enormous role. Being overweight, drinking, eating plenty of rich meat, and foods that contain purines, along with acid forming foods and dehydration. If you are overweight (not all suffers are) do not choose a ‘high protein low carbohydrate diet’. These diets have given some people gout and for others it has made their condition much worse. How can it bring on gout or make it worse? These diets trigger ketosis, this process leads to the production of by-products, lactic acid and acetone. These chemicals complete with uric acid for expulsion from the body.

They are formed from excess uric acid in your bloodstream. Now uric acid is formed from the breakdown of chemical compounds called ‘purines’ which exist naturally in our body’s cells and in a lot of our foods. These purines have many duties to perform in our bodies, two of which are to convert our food to energy and genes to protein. So you can see that they are vital to us.

You don’t have to become a vegetarian, eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables to counter-balance, they are generally alkaline forming, exceptions to this rule are oranges and tomatoes, plus the purine rich asparagus, spinach and mushrooms. Least acid forming grains like millet, brown rice and quinoa.

What causes gout? is being asked more frequently as more and more people are being afflicted by gout. The causes are simple, yet complex. And they affect different people in different ways. But, aside from the actual pain, gout causes real problems in your life, e.g. you can’t get around, you can’t get to work, you can’t drive, and so on. And much more seriously, if it isn’t treated properly you could end up with permanently damaged joints. So let’s look at what causes gout…

Now normally, when purines breakdown as a natural result of carrying out their duties, the uric acid that is formed is managed at normal healthy levels by our kidneys, excess being flushed out of our bodies via urine.
