Mantra Meditation, Effort, Time And Work

Posted by herbmaster on Jul 20, 2010 in Uncategorized

When you start a mantra meditation practice there is one thing, one important thing that you need to know.  What I am going to tell you about is common sense.  Unfortunately however this news is not a very popular concept.

In order to actually achieve your goals with your mantra meditation practice, you are going to need to work.  Time, effort, and energy will need to be invested into your mantra meditation practice.

If you are wanting to get results, you are going to have to commit.  You need to make the choice to commit your energy, time and work to produce the results.  Unfortunately results don’t come out of thin air.

When you start your mantra meditation practice initially it will all be exciting, but eventually the reality will set in.

Your awareness will grow of the hard work required from you.  This is the work that is required in order to produce the fruit, the changes.

Mantra meditation is unfortunately not a quick fix solution.  Nor is mantra meditation something you will have mastered in a week, a month or year.

Changes will occur for sure, and even small changes can be observed daily and weekly.  Mastery however doesn’t arrive quickly.  Mastery arrives with sustained time, effort, energy and commitment.

Unfortunately in current times this is not popular thinking.  We live in a fast society.  We live in a consumeristic society.  Everyone wants results yesterday, the quick result, the easy way out.  The result that requires no work.

Its not like that with mantra meditation.  Changing yourself with your mantra meditation practice can happen in an instant – but it is no likely.  To change the mind and energy, time and energy are required.

So when you start your mantra meditation practice commit yourself to it.  To really reap the rewards of your mantra meditation practice, commit your energy and time to obtain the results you really want.
