There are some couples who dread getting pregnant as their sexual life is affected. Expectant parents are usually quite concerned about sex during the woman is pregnant. There are a variety of reasons why some couples want to avoid having sex during pregnancy. During pregnancy, there are some men who don’t have the same interest to have sex with their pregnant partner. For women who have low risk of suffering from pregnancy complications are safe to have sex while pregnant. Many pregnancies are normal and therefore it is safe to continue to be sexually active at this time. Normal pregnancy is the type of pregnancy where the mother is not at any risk of having a miscarriage or pre-term labor. You must avoid being sexual during pregnancy when your pregnancy is not considered by doctors to be normal. Safe sex must still be practiced even with sex during pregnancy as men can be too excited and rough while having sex. If you or your partner has contacted STD or other blood transmittable type of diseases then it’s always best to avoid sex during pregnancy. A lot of people have this false thought that if they have sex especially during the first trimester of pregnancy that this could cause a miscarriage.

Some parents are afraid that sex during pregnancy would actually disturb the soothing environment of the baby in the womb. Sex during pregnancy would be a little different as partners have to make adjustments. Having the woman on top or going for spooning position are the best sex position for pregnant women. Even if Sex during pregnancy is risk-free, if your wife says no, then you have to respect it. Safe sex while the woman is pregnant is great in maintaining the relationship to be healthy. There are a lot of reliable medical studies that explain clearly that sex during pregnancy will not pose any threat to the baby and mother. The woman during pregnancy grows a lot and when it happens, sex during pregnancy can be a bit too difficult. To keep the baby safe during pregnancy, couples must not have sex from 6 weeks up to the twelfth week. Couples can have sex while pregnant but it does not also mean that it’s a must. It’s great to be more creative when you want to enjoy having sex while the woman is going through pregnancy. It won’t do you any harm if you talk to your doctor about having sex during pregnancy.
